La Salle residents play softball within the MacDonald Baseball Association.  MacBall is a member of the Winnipeg South West Youth Softball Association.  WSWYSA co-ordinates all league play.  League play is available for all age groups:

  • Mite – 10 and under as of Dec 31
  • Squirt – 12 and under as of Dec 31
  • Pee Wee – 14 and under as of Dec 31
  • Bantam – 16 and under as of Dec 31
  • Midget – 19 and under as of Dec 31

Level of play is divided into A, B and C leagues.  The majority of players play at the C level with try-outs for B level teams held based on the number of registrations per age group in early April.  League Championships normally take place on the last weekend in June, with Provincials held in July.
