La Salle is a vibrant community of over 1700 people located along the picturesque La Salle River just 8 kilometres south of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Founded in 1878, the town is one of the fastest growing centres in the province. Famous for its spirit, La Salle was selected as a top five finalist for the 2010 Manitoba Home Coming celebration. Annually, the community hosts many events including a fall supper and festival as well as a winter carnival. La Salle has a very strong community recreation program and is dedicated to enhancing the lives of its residence through developing a love for sport for all age groups and the completion of a new state of the art recreation facility.
